torsional strain翻成中文就是對鍵張力

舉例來說 你可以在cyclopropane的1,2位置放上兩個朝上的methyl

這兩個mehtyl在空間上有steric effect 也就是torsional strain 故能量增加

想請問這句話是什麼意思.感謝各位解答

我不知道steric strain的中文翻成什麼

就我所知steric strain是分子中不正常的角度所引起的張力

比如說cyclopropane的bent bond 因為三環張力大的關係

他的C-C鍵是稍微向外彎的

我想steric strain應該還有其他的意義 請知道的人補充吧

^^^^^^^^^^^ 我也覺得是這個，可是我看的書上是寫angle strain，
應該是一樣的吧...

剛查了一下書(March's advanced organic chemistry,p180,STRAIN)

其中一小段是這樣寫的：

There are, in general, two kinds of structural features that resault

in sterically caused abnormal bond angle.One of these is found in

small-ring compound,where the angles must be less than those

those resulting from normal orbtial overlap. Such strain is called

small-angle strain. The other arises when nonbonded atoms are forced

into close proximity by the gemetry of the molecule.These are called

nonbonded interaction.
